‘Marble Yard’ is a love story about a common garden interlaced with the theme of loss of control, represented through marble runs. The project is partially inspired by the story of a town council in Nuremberg in Germany limiting the play of marble games to a single meadow outside the town. The fast-paced quality intrinsic to marble runs creates a nostalgic excitement, while the archetypal notion of a garden embodies ideas of self-reflection and slow growth.
