Outer Spaces | Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow

The former M&S store on Sauchiehall Street was the first Outer Spaces property in central Glasgow. This huge, iconic building was filled with over 90 artists, curators, performers and writers who used it as a space for research, production and presentation from December 2022 to February 2024. We caught up with a few of them to discuss how accessing the space influenced their practice.

Many of the resident artists put a huge amount of work into creating a supportive community, with the building at it's heart. We're really looking forward to seeing this community grow and evolve in our new spaces across the city.
